Emily Stone Copper Flower Rose Sculpture

rose sculpture

My rose was created for an exhibition at Lovely’s Gallery, Margate, on a theme of ‘Beauty and the Copper Beasties’. The beasts included a giant centipede, made especially for the event. Amongst the ‘beauties’ created was this, my first rose. The rose is often thought of as the archetype of beauty, so – I think it worked.

I was particularly pleased with the contrasting colours of the flower and the leaves.

Can be mounted as seen, in a rustic wood block, planted directly in the ground, or displayed in a vase indoors.
80cm tall, £465
