A variation of my water-lily pads: a pair of pads linked by their stems to a flower, accompanied by a frog. The colouring on the flower petals and stamens is achieved by heating and quenching the flower; this is lacquered so that the colour will not change as the copper ages, whether kept indoors or outside.
