Some of my hens with two designs of cockerel at Nettlestead Manor, a fine old Kentish country house. Hens come in two sizes, and there are also tiny chicks; the newer design of cockerel is the one nearest us, on the corner of the grass. These sculptures are placed by pushing a short steel rod (provided) into the ground, and slotting one of the leg tubes over it. They are therefore easy to move for mowing, and positioning them in new places afterwards is half the fun of ownership.
Hens: large, as seen here, £125; smaller £95; chicks £55; cockerel £175.
