I was really excited with this new work (February 2022), and in particular, the colours. The contrast between the grubby root vegetable and the foliage works really well. Like nearly all my colouring, the effects are created purely by heating the copper and quenching it; then the piece is lacquered to exclude the air, so that those colours will be retained.

Dimensions and price to follow. The piece is made with three hidden hanging-loops, and is intended as a wall sculpture, but could also be displayed anywhere you wish.
