The small holly and ivy wreath shown could be used as a decoration for a candle (not provided) or on its own as a table-centre; it also has a loop on the back for hanging vertically if desired. The gold and orange ivy, green and purple holly and bright red berries show the versatile colouring which can be achieved on copper – all done by heating and quenching the piece; no chemical pigments are applied. Because the work is lacquered, it will retain these colours indefinitely.
